Tutorials:Creating A World That Doesn't Suck - Distant Terrain
DO NOT EDIT WITHOUT DIRECT PERMISSION FROM TVRDESIGNS OR QBUILDERZ.
The whole idea of distant terrain is to make the edges of your world seem more interesting. Put simply, a distant terrain object is a very low quality textured object that you place in Create a World via the objects panel. Placing these objects is made rather difficult by the sheer size and odd shapes of them.
Modifying files using S3PE is still regarded as EXPERIMENTAL and as such, I (TVRdesigns) and any other user mentioned in this section take NO responsibility if your world becomes corrupted or you lose files, etc. If you lose files and you have not backed up, you only have yourself to blame. You have been warned. |
