The whole idea of distant terrain is to make the edges of your world seem more interesting. Put simply, a distant terrain object is a very low quality textured object that you place in Create a World via the objects panel. Placing these objects is made rather difficult by the sheer size and odd shapes of them.

Modifying files using S3PE is still regarded as EXPERIMENTAL and as such, I (TVRdesigns) and any other user mentioned in this section take NO responsibility if your world becomes corrupted or you lose files, etc. If you lose files and you have not backed up, you only have yourself to blame. You have been warned.

The Sunset Valley distant terrain is a pretty basic one. There are white mountains in one corner and those are surrounded by flowing green hills. This terrain is intended to be used for a bay but can obviously be used for other types of worlds. Position X = 2047.11707 Y = 116.551254 Z = 2047.2146 Rotation X = 0 Y = 0 Z = 0

Distant Terrain – China: Position X = 1025.91492 Y = -100.792183 Z = 1022.01959 Rotation X = 0 Y = -89.99999 Z = 0 Distant Terrain – Egypt: Position X = 1000.6 Y = -2 Z = 1025.6 Rotation X = 0 Y = 44.1999931 Z = 0 Distant Terrain – France: Position X = 1000 Y = 0 Z = 1012 Rotation X = -179.999985 Y = 0 Z = -179.999985
