Symbolic Links in XP

Hi, there is a way to use symbolic links in XP, using Junction.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896768.aspx

Instead of using the "MKLINK /D" command, you type "junction" instead. The rest is the same. The Junction.exe file must be in the directory that the user is accessing, so the easiest directory is the current users one. I.e. c:\documents and settings\[USER]\

I use Windows XP 64bit and have 2 drives, one SSD as the boot partition and the non-ssd as the my docs one. I have Ambitions. I typed

junction "d:\program files (x86)\electronic arts\the sims 3 create a world\packages" "c:\my documents\electronic arts\the sims 3\mods\packages"

It 100% works, I just used CAW and it found the data in the game.--Kbbbb 08:02, 20 October 2011 (EDT)
