Packages

  • To remove packages, open \Mods\Packages\ folder.
  • For Patch 1.11 / 2.6 / 3.2 and below, full path is
    • Windows XP/Vista/7 (32 Bit) - C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
    • Windows XP/Vista/7 (64 Bit) - C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
    • Mac OS: - Content/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages
  • For Patch 1.12 / 2.7 / 3.3 and higher, if you're using the new Mods structure, full path is
    • Windows XP: - C:\Documents And Settings\<user name>\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
    • Windows Vista/7: - C:\Users\<user name>\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
    • Mac OS: - C:/Users/<user name>/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages
  • Delete the package as you would with any file
  • Also Delete Cache Files, for good measure.
