Introduction

This section covers meshing Body Shop content: that is creating new 3D models (meshes) for hair, clothing, bodies, and accessories.

Before you start reading these tutorials, you will absolutely need:

• SimPE
• A 3D modeling program - we HIGHLY recommend Milkshape with the Unimesh plugins. Free programs are available but simply will not do what Milkshape will do for its low price.
• Prerequisite for ALL Body Shop Meshing Projects: You MUST be an experienced creator of Body Shop recolours - that is, changing textures and alphas for clothing, hair, accessories, skintones, etc... These tutorials will not tell how to use Body Shop or make textures for your meshes... and the skills you learn through becoming extremely adept at making recolours/retextures/reskins of Body Shop content are -crucial- to being successful at creating new Body Shop meshes.

Introduction An introduction to Body Shop Meshing - what it's for, terminology, etc. Beginner Tutorials If you've never meshed before, start here! Clothing and Body Tutorials All meshing tutorials related to making clothes and new body shapes. Accessory Tutorials Accessories are a bit more difficult than bodies, but if you have been through the Unimesh tutorials, you should be able to handle it. Hair Tutorials Hair is much more difficult to make in the Sims 2, so make sure you have done all previous tutorials before these ones. Other Tutorials Tutorials not specific to a particular type of meshing but are well worth reading.
