Game Help:Cannot Purchase Object

Problem

• Cannot buy a particular item in the catalog (i.e. red background)

Solution

Check your family funds. If you don't have enough money, items in Buy Mode or Build Mode will have a red background.

Either use the money cheat to give your family enough money, sell an item or two and use that to buy what you want, or wait until you earn the money.
