TXMT/Parameters/CategorisedList/stdMatEnvCubeTexture

There are 7 known member parameters in this group. The following is a simple numeric hierarchy to show how these TXMT parameters work according to these known pathways:

0. The first-most parameter to set for activation and deactivation of the nvironment Cube Map reflection for a given TXMT file or a given material shader predefined material is

1. If the value is "none", then the Environment Cube Map texture is disabled. Then, all stdMatEnvCubeTexture parameters except "stdMatEnvCubeCoef" can be omitted or kept for later testing.

  • cubeMappingEnable will in turn be set as "false". (NOT in txmt files but in material shaders)

2. If the value is "reflection".

  • cubeMappingEnable will in turn be set as "true". (NOT in txmt files but in material shaders)

  • The following parameters should be set and needed.
To refer to the Environment Cube Map texture name without the extension "_txtr"
To decide how much of the Environment Cube Map to be blended with the Base Map in terms of RGB values. The RGB values will be added to the corresponding RGB values of the Base Map dynamically accordingly.

3. For the following parameters, usable when necessary, and omittable when unused:

"Extra parameters for the Environment Cube Map texture, enabling e.g. procedurally generated textures to be specified"
To adjust how blurry the Environment Cube Map reflection is on the Base Map.
To lock the Environment Cube Map to the camera view or rotate it accordingly.
