Tutorials:TS3 HTMG ChapL Testing

Test in game
L1. Copy+Paste the package file you created into your ../mods/packages/ folder
L2. Make sure to exit out of s3pe and s3oc, if you still have those running.
L3. Launch the game and TEST!
- Testing in buy/build catalog list:
- name and description appear as entered in s3pe
- correct price
- thumbnails generated by game
- name and description appear as entered in s3pe
- Testing pattern applied as intended in Create-a-STyle
- Test out different pattern categories on clone and original object – should appear identical in terms of orientation and pixelation (i.e. no stretch)

- Testing custom thumbnails
- Testing shadows – indoors and outdoors
- Morning – in-game
- Late afternoon – in-game
- Morning – in-game
- Testing usage
- Testing zoom-ins and outs – especially if you create an outdoor / neighborhood object that needs to be seen in map view
- Testing animation
- and so on and so forth…you get the idea…
