Short Cheongsam Inspired Dress

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
I bring you my first upload, a short dress based on the WA Cheongsam dress. I love the style, but I needed a more contemporary-casual version for my sims to pair up with combat boots for a 90s inspired look.

Does not require World Adventures - Base Game Compatible

Has all morphs, including pregnancy so your sims don't have to resort EA maternity tragedies when expecting

Fully recolorable with 3 channels:
  • Dress
  • Trim
  • Bottom Under Skirt
(Ok so you don't technically need the last one as you can't normally see it unless sitting down or some similar pose but it personally bugs me when it's the same channel as the main part and you put some floral pattern for example and it carries... so I like to make it a solid, darker color that matches the base. Or you could just leave it dark grey.)

Has 3 presets, all fully recolorable. The last one doesn't have a trim around the sleeves and the bottom of the skirt, so you can spice things up.

Enabled for Everyday, Formal and Career. Disabled for Random. Compressed and with custom thumbnail.

Polygon Counts:
Mesh: 2492 vertices, 3945 faces

Additional Credits:
S3PE, TSRW, Milkshape, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, TS3 WA

Age: Young Adult Adult
Gender: Female
Clothing Type: Everyday Formal
Clothing Style: No Style
Other Type: Maternity
Maxis Flags: Not Applicable
Outfit Type: Full Outfit

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

This should be made as a random outfit. Please. PLEASE.

Jesus loves you and died for you!

Your resident prude! A pox on all who remove the "censor blurs" on showering (etc.) Sims!

Hey there, it's really easy to make it available for random, you just need to open the package with s3pe, find the CASP resource and change the flag for the "Random" category to True (and save). You can pm me if you need any more explanation
