Is it necessary, so far down the line, to discuss the "old way" any more? Perhaps the "old way" should be relegated to a tiny link or some other form of reduced footprint, since almost everyone these days has a fresh install well above patch 1.12. You'd be surprised, how often this still happens. Also, situations where someone has stopped Simming before patch 1.12 and is only returning to the game now that Supernatural and Seasons are available (or soon to be available), would still need this information. And so the Big Red Warning Box stays. Thanks for the concern, though.
